First, thank you for entrusting us with your care and well-being. For in-person sessions: Please bring forms for session. (Located right above this section) Please wear comfortable clothing and a bottle, preferably a gallon of water, and meet Cynthia in the lobby of the French Quarter Suite D-100. Once in the office, Cynthia will ask your body what it wants/needs as her intent is to create results. Next, depending on service, you may be lying down for color light therapy, sound or even PEMF mat therapy. For initial biofeedback, Chromotherapy, Eye-patterns trauma release, and all-inclusive sessions you may start in sitting position and transition to lying down. In any scenario, know you are safe and your needs and desires will be discussed and addressed as best as possible in allotted time. Have any questions, just ask! Biofeedback is a safe, non-invasive technique that works by creating awareness of how the body responds to stress. It helps balance the body’s natural rhythms without the use of medication. Many clients find it to be a valuable complement to conventional medical care. Those with pacemakers are unable to have biofeedback sessions.
Cynthia's services are not covered by traditional insurance. However, Flexible Savings Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) do reimburse biofeedback sessions. These accounts often cover wellness services that enhance physical and mental health. Although services are not covered by insurance there are long-term health benefits. Because stress is a silent killer, seeking ways to balance it can have a greater cumulative effect much like financial investing, it is investing in your whole self.
There is no difference in the strength or effectiveness between in-person and remote sessions. Energy knows no boundaries, and Cynthia effectively connects with clients’ energy remotely. Remote sessions are ideal for those who prefer not to be physically touched or have limited time. Before each session, Cynthia will confirm your preferred communication method (video, text, or email) and ensure a seamless experience.

PEMF, Tuning Forks, Eye Patterns Trauma Release, Crystal therapy and Chromotherapy glasses, if booked alone are 30 minute sessions. For adults sessions are an hour and a half for children they are an hour long. Depending on what is requested, sessions and the experience will vary.
With biofeedback in-person sessions an individual is sitting in a chair with a pad that is sending balancing energy from a connected interface that has been connected to a computer. Cynthia‘s software then displays what stressors are being exhibited within the client's body. This helps Cynthia facilitate creating awareness within the client to make lifestyle changes based on their session. With energy work sessions typically the individual is lying down and Cynthia is using various modalities from energy work, crystals etc to facilitate a deep relaxation.
Wanting and needing DEEP relaxation? Book an all inclusive session with Biofeedback, PEMF, chromotherapy glasses, light therapy and aromatherapy for your maximum benefit. Your mind, body and spirit will thank you.
For children's sessions, Cynthia does have toys and or games for children and Cynthia to play with. She Incorporates play therapy skills into her sessions, she is not a play therapist, however. If you have special toys your child enjoys please feel free to bring those to the session. At this time, Cynthia requests one child per session. Focus needs to be on the individual child to create the requested outcome. If parent attends child's session it is booked as and charged as a parent and me session.
Please bring any necessary paperwork, including the Client Consent and Basic Information Forms. For biofeedback sessions, bring water—ideally a thermos or gallon—as it will be charged with energy during your session. Think of your brain and spine as the electrical system of your body. Water is the greatest conductor of electricity. Your brain and spine needs water for optimal functioning to communicate effectively with your body. Wearing comfortable clothing and having an open mind will also enhance your experience, all this will assist and contribute to the effectiveness of the treatment.
Each person’s experience is unique. Most clients feel a sense of deep relaxation, balance, and renewed energy. Some may experience a post-session detox whether it be emotional, physical or some other way. Others may feel tired afterward, and experience a need for energy healing recovery which is a sign that the body is healing. Both biofeedback and energy work promote detoxification, so increased elimination (through sweat or digestion) is common.
It is recommended to start with six weekly biofeedback sessions to allow the body to hold a new pattern. Afterward, clients may shift to bi-weekly or monthly sessions depending on their needs. This regular entrainment process supports long-term well-being and helps the body maintain alignment. One such example of needing consistent bi-weekly sessions is insomnia. That is a great example of biofeedback for chronic stress management until the body resolves and begins restoring balance. Another example, a client after having an appendectomy started biofeedback sessions one month after her surgery. When she visited a new physician, her physician was surprised to learn that she was not experiencing incontinence often experienced by those recovering from that surgery. A client who was experiencing “foggy eyes” after cataract surgery was told after consistent weekly sessions her eyes and vision were improving. Food for thought: consider when going to the doctor after receiving a prescription it is necessary to follow through with taking prescription consistently to see results. Same applies to biofeedback and energy work. Although one session of biofeedback or energy work may provide deeper relaxation or reduction of inflammation, consistency retrains the brain to hold the pattern.
